Featuring: JA Be Entrepreneurial (Think Like an Entrepreneur)

JA Be Entrepreneurial is a reimagined, modular learning experience that teaches students about the mindset and the skills needed for success by aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators who add value to any organization. In JA Think Like an Entrepreneur, students develop a mindset that enables opportunity identification, innovation, value creation, and problem solving. (Grades 9-12)

Featuring: JA Finance Park (Entry Level)

JA Finance Park is Junior Achievement’s capstone program for personal financial planning and career exploration. At the culmination of this teacher-led program, students visit JA Finance Park, a realistic on-site or virtual community, to put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget. (Grades 7-9)

When: Monday, July 22, 2024 - Friday, July 26, 2024
Where: JA Education Center in Auburn
Time: 9:00 AM PT

This summer, you can spend one week fully immersed in career exploration, personal financial planning, and entrepreneurship. Imagine yourself pitching a business idea to a panel of expert judges, Shark Tank-style, creating a real-life budget for your future adult self, and figuring out a career path that aligns with your passions and interests. Designed for students in grades 7-9, this summer camp will give you a foundation for building a successful financial future, including critical decisions related to your career, income, expenses, savings, and credit.

Join JA for an exciting week of activities, including a visit to JA Finance Park, a simulated mini-town where you can practice what you've learned and become an adult for a day. You will wrap up your week with an opportunity to design, develop, and pitch a business idea while collaborating with other students in small groups.

* How your personal interests, skills, and passions can apply to your future career.
* How to successfully manage, save, and invest your money.
* How to create your personal budget and identify your "needs" and "wants."
* How to create and pitch your dream business idea.

Summer Camps are from 9:00 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. This is a drop-off camp experience.
